This is the Intrinsically-Safe version of the Raytek MI3 sensor. The MI3 sensor is a two piece system that consists of a miniature sensing head and separate communications box (sold separately). The MI3 is designed to measure target temperatures and fit into places that are typically inaccessible to conventional sensors, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments.
